  This is a great hospital from the ER to the ICU. Beyond that the hospital leaves a lot to be desired. I would certainly let them save my life, but not very much after that. Better to transfer somewhere else for followup hospitalization. One day after I was released from intensive care I had enough. The room I was in was terrible. Noisy and full of distractions. I thought hospitals were supposed to be quiet. Also, it became questionable that the personell were being managed efficiently. Long periods of waiting in a noisy room! Reminds me of a government facility.

  I had surgery here and they are so outdated and don't provide you with the proper medicine and amount of medicine to get you through more than 3 days after surgery!!! I now have to wait because it's the weekend til tomorrow when they open or try to get in the car and drive to the hospital for now meds. I had stomach surgery!!!

  I wish that I could give Kent Hospital Zero Stars. Worst hospital ever. My dad caught mrsa and c-dip and died from the nurses giving him too much morphine. They try to push hospice on my dad, but I would never put anyone on hospice. I was his power of attorney. Some Asian female doctor in the ICU(2nd floor) threaten to send my dad to the hospice building on North Main St in Providence if I took my dad off being full code, so I kept him full code.Kent Hospital should be shut down. It's a dirty hospital and it has the worst doctors and nurses. I wouldn't bring my dog to this hospital.
